Emergency numbers
Throughout Europe the general number for all amergencies is 112. In Spain the operators speak English, French, German and Italian, in addition to Spanish and will liaise with the emergency services when the caller does not speak Spanish. No area code is needed and the number can be called from any phone, including mobiles without a Spanish SIM card or any credit.

Health Clinics
The state run facility is called the 'Ambulatorio' and located on Avenida Juan Carlos I in Estepona, and calle Príncipe de Asturias, in San Pedro. They have a 24hr emergency wing as well as the daytime medical appointment facilities. The state hospital for Estepona is Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella.
There are also a number of privately operated health clinics for patients to go without referal as an alternative to the state health service. Here is a list with the nearest to Cancelada.

- Diana pharmacy is open from 9.30am to 9.30pm on weekdays.
- Bel Air pharmacy is open from 8.30am to 10.00pm from Monday to Saturday. From 10am to 15pm on Sunday.
